HOLE IN ONE!

Fairways at Pole Creek located in Granby, Colorado. One of the more enjoyable days of hacking it around, that I've experienced. Longtime friend, Chris Clark, piped a 6-iron for a hole-in-one on the 174 yard 5th hole. Pretty cool to witness a hole-in-one regardless, but certainly special to see a great friend snag one. CONGRATS CLARK, many more!

Raven at Three Peaks, Silverthorne CO

Three good friends made into Colorado to join me for a weekend of good clean fun! Kicked it off with a round in Silverthorne at the Raven. Beautiful and challenging course with elevated tee boxes on several holes. Great start to the weekend!

Wild Horse Golf Club, Nebraska

18 holes of the most humid weather I have ever subjected myself to. Nonetheless, another great course for 35 bucks!

TPC DEERE RUN

Home of the PGA Stop, the John Deere Classic, this is an absolutely gorgeous course seemingly located in the absolute middle of nowhere. However, 18 holes including practice range was $55! No, Seriously. When asking a few guys around the club why it was so cheap, they quickly eluded to the fact that it's in the middle of nowhere.
Definitely worth the drive time and visit. A course that should be added to any golfers bucket-list!

KICKED OFF!!!

It's official! The tour has been launched. I left Saturday evening knocking a few hours off the drive towards Colorado. Just in case you might be interested, the Super 8 in Pittston, Pennsylvania may have about the worst $100 hotel room in the northeast, but we press forward. . .

After 11 straight hours I ended up in Joliet, Illinois at Harrah's casino. Hands down (no pun intended) best $100 hotel room in the midwest. After a short few hours of work, I ended up 5 bills ahead and quickly decided to retire for the evening. Enough to pay for the first part of the trip including my favorite $100 hotel!

Quick Stay in Joliet, TPC Deere Run here we come.
